In Loving Memory of Taylor Caffrey

In Memory of Taylor Caffrey

CHSA soccer player, Taylor Caffrey was diagnosed in 2008 with Pulmonary Hypertension. This was Taylor's first season participating in soccer and she was on a CHSA Girl's Clinic team with her twin sister Brooke. Since Taylor was not able to actively participate in games, she found other ways to contribute to her team. "Coach Tay" helped coach the team while sister Brooke played. Taylor Caffrey showed a sense of strength that many of us can only imagine. She embraced each day and was very excited to be able to participate in soccer. Taylor was beautiful, funny, smart, and she had a inspirational smile.

She had been bravely fighting to stay alive since her diagnosis. She kept up her battle until her little heart just couldn't take it anymore. Taylor passed away from heart failure last Saturday, September 19th. Taylor Caffrey's courage and spirit will live forever.
